Due to an increase in freight to Dublin over
the last year and our 1st class relationship with our partners
JMC Van Trans, we now have our own Account Manager at Dublin.
Our Account manager has worked in the
Transport/Courier industry in Dublin for 6 years the last 2 of
which was within JMC Van Trans, therefore is well placed to know
the routes and services available in Dublin. JMC are part
on EN-POSTE the Irish postal service and are the largest same
day Courier Company in Ireland with over 150 vehicles working on
a daily basis.
Our account manager deals with our trailers
in and out of Dublin as well as looking after our Dublin
customers. In between selling our manager is available to
visit our customers to sort out any problems quickly rather than
them waiting for a visit from Glasgow.

JMC VAN TRANS
Founded in 1990 by John McCluskey & Garrett
Murphy, JMC Van Trans began as a van courier company serving the
growing Dublin city market.
The fleet grew quickly over the first 2 years
as the company expanded & soon they numbered some of Dublin’s
best known companies among their clients.
The range of vehicles increased to reflect
this broadening of the client base as did the scope of services
offered, by 1995 the company dominated the Dublin van & truck
courier market & began to seek new opportunities.
The establishment of a nationwide overnight
service was the obvious choice, the customer demanded an
integrated system for all of their domestic traffic & JMC Van
Trans sought to answer that need. The company was well placed to
take advantage of "Celtic Tiger" economy in the late 90's / 2002
and in this period it consolidated its position in that market.
Simultaneous to the company's expansion into
these sectors, the Irish National Post Office (An Post) was
seeking a company with a presence in these markets & a keen
understanding of the commercial realities of operating freight
in an increasingly competitive environment.
JMC Van Trans was identified as a partner
that offered the best fit to the criterion, and so in 1999 JMC
Van Trans was bought by An Post.
Today the company acts as a wholly owned but
independently operated company within the An Post Group. They
operate in excess of 150 vehicles on the Dublin courier service
& use 11 regional depots with scores of vehicles throughout
Ireland to distribute nextday freight.
Literally thousands of items pass through the
network daily, the new hub in Ballymount adjacent to the
Dublin's orbital M50 road allows unrivalled reach into Dublin's
commercial heartland.
"The association with Bullet Express is seen
as a significant step forward for JMC Van Trans" said Garrett
Murphy JMC's MD, he went on to say "we recognise the synergies
between the two companies and we are sure that the partnership
will be a tremendous success".
